How to Hatch Eggs

Step-by-step guide to get the most from your eggs

🏪 Step 1: Buy Eggs

Visit Raphael’s Pet Egg Stand near the Gear Shop. The shop stocks up to 3 eggs at once and refreshes every 30 minutes. Rarer eggs appear less frequently — check often for Bug Eggs (3% spawn chance).

🪴 Step 2: Place on Plot

Equip the egg from your inventory and place it anywhere on your garden plot. You can hatch 3 eggs simultaneously by default. Buy extra slots with Robux or by trading aged pets (max 13 slots total).

⏱ Step 3: Wait & Boost

Wait for the timer to expire. Speed it up by placing Kiwi, Blood Kiwi, Chicken, or Rooster pets nearby. Blood Kiwi is the most efficient — 5 give you a 100% speed increase plus 225s reduction/min.

🎉 Step 4: Hatch!

When the timer ends, hold the hatch button to reveal your pet. Skip the remaining timer for a small Robux cost (reduces wait to 30 seconds). HUGE pets (0.1% chance) get 4× hatch weight — never trade as regulars!

What is the HUGE modifier and how rare is it? ▼

Every egg hatch has a 0.1% chance (1 in 1,000) of producing a HUGE pet. HUGE pets have 4× the hatch weight of normal pets and dramatically higher trade values. Never trade a HUGE pet as if it were a regular one — they are worth many multiples more.

How many eggs can I hatch at once? ▼

You start with 3 egg slots. You can increase to 8 by purchasing slots with Robux or trading aged pets. An additional 5 slots can be unlocked with Garden Coins in the Ascension Shop, making the maximum 13 simultaneous eggs.

Which egg gives the best value for Sheckles? ▼

The Rare Egg delivers the best Sheckles-per-value ratio for most players. The Bug Egg is an end-game bet with a high ceiling (Divine-rarity Dung Beetle at 1%) but also highest cost and longest hatch time. Common Eggs are safest for beginners.

Can event eggs come back after their event ends? ▼

Some event eggs return during re-runs of their associated event. The Hive Egg is currently the only event egg that remains obtainable outside events. Others like the Night Egg, Bee Egg, and Dino Egg are only available during their specific events.

What’s the fastest way to hatch eggs? ▼

Stack 8 Blood Kiwis for maximum speed — this gives 160% speed increase plus massive periodic time reductions. For multi-egg setups, 1 Bald Eagle + 7 Blood Kiwis is the community consensus optimal loadout. Never mix speed and quality booster pets in the same loadout.

How do I get Dinosaur Eggs? ▼

Dino Eggs cannot be bought with Sheckles or Robux. Trade any Legendary+ pet with Graham at the Dinosaur Egg DNA Station — the process takes 1 hour and gives 1–4 Dino Eggs. Trade common pets like Golden Lab or Dog to Graham for best efficiency when farming Dino Eggs.
